The staff was welcoming and very helpful. The Rooms were spacious, comfortable and well decorated. Our dinners were the best we had during our travels.

Wonderful
Beautiful room and castle with a panoramic view of the surrounding area. Breakfast was delicious and it included cakes and pastries along with a cappuccino.
The room had a strong fragrance throughout so beware if you're sensitive to fragrance/perfume.

If in the area, and available, You HAVE TO STAY HERE
We could see this place from quite a distance, And the closer we got , the better it became.. On arrival, their parking guy was on the case, and showed us where to park, helped to reception etc. To say we were WOWED, is almost an understatement, As someone who loves old buildings, History, And artistic things, It was almost a sensual overload. Everything, everywhere, the details, the one off peices of furniture, The sculptures. Our room was very spacious, With a very nice TV/ Lounge room, With views looking down on the peasants outside,,,, Well years ago anyway ! Breakfast was very well presented, And just the right amount. We did eat there in the evening,,,,, To be Brutal, Judging the Mains, and Based on price,,,, it was ok no more. 7/10 We decided if we ate there again, We'd have the superb bread basket, And 3 courses of the Superb deserts, Yes they were really good
